All of our naturally formed fieldstone is hand selected on the hillsides of the Northern Alabama or Eastern Tennessee mountains. Through being exposed to wind and rain over millions of years, the stone has become the most aged, mossy, and generally beautiful stone found on the East Coast of the United States. These beauties are hand selected and separated by size. Our fieldstone is very popular in both the masonry and landscape industry. As the name states, these blocky stones are thick and long. Fieldstone Thick Long is used for landscape borders, dry stacked retaining walls, or decorative accents. Many clients love to use thick long in conjunction with our Medium Thick and Thin Fieldstone in order to build a retaining wall that maximizes style and beauty.
